Programs of Study
In Economics
There are three programs of study in Economics, each leading to a B.S. degree in Economics. The three options are Economics without a concentration, Economics with a Business concentration, and Economics with a Finance concentration.
The no concentration option is designed to allow a student to take a full range of Economics courses. The program allows for the completion of a variety of minors or a double major within the four year time frame.
The Business concentration is designed for a student who is interested in a career in Business. The program allows for the completion of a double major with Business Administration within the four year time frame.
The Finance
concentration is designed for a student who is interested in a career in Banking
and Finance. Think about adding an accounting or marketing minor to the
mix.

Completing the Economics degree in four
years.
All the programs in Economics are designed to be completed in 4 years or 8
semesters. Minors and double majors can also be completed within the same
time frame, provided the student plans early and works closely with their
advisor. All programs require 57 credits of General Education, 48 credits
for the major, and 15 credits of free electives. For a full description of
